| General Impression & Note |
Very nice kit enlarges the collection of vehicles used by LRDG with one of the first vehicles used by this unit in North Africa. This recon vehicle is based on pick-up Ford 01A van. I found two photos, where the cars are armed with Wickers machineguns, some info is also in Osprey publication LRDG. Unfortunately I’m not sure, if those are the vehicles on which the kit is based. The kit is great, because everybody can hang anything on the hull. References say, that LRDG vehicles are full of several boxes, jerrycans, bags and so on. So if you don’t build particular vehicle based on photos, you can use your imagination and use whatever you want [and have]. |
