Parts are too many to count but appear to be over 125 parts. Detail is superb and very fine. Sprue attachments are very fine so parts should be easy to remove. Suspension bogies are all separate parts allowing the suspension to articulated over irregular ground. The sprues include a very detailed 76.2-mm howitzer and 7.62-mm mg with ammunition for both. Detailed and flexible band track. I have not assembled a mirage T-26 or 7TP kit yet so cannot comment on fit and assembly. This model is a variant of the Mirage 7TP, Vicker E and T-26 models and share many common parts so reviews of other kits should reflect on this one also. The scan of the tracks compare the Skif T-26 continuous soft black vinyl tracks (far left), the PART etched brass tracks, the band gray vinyl tracks, and the old amber resin tracks for the Czech models T-26B resin kit (far right). The Mirage tracks are easily the best of the kit supplied tracks. The PART etched brass tracks appear the finest of the four and should be made to work for all manufacturers of 1/72 T-26, 7 TP & Vickers E tank models (and will likely work for the old ESCI M13/40 and Semovante 75/18 models). |

History for Modelers: |
This vehicle was an armored infantry support, or assault gun, variant of the Soviet T-26 tank. Developed in the 1930's it is similar in idea to the Italian Semovante 75/18 SP gun and early German Sturmgeschutz III. |
