Pz. Kpfw. III Ausf. L in 1/72 scale
Name | Pz. Kpfw. III Ausf. L /# 03133/ |
Producer | Revell Germany A.G. |
Packing | Soft cardboard box with less practical side opening /different from older Revell’s kits/ |
Type of kit | Injected plastic kit |
Quality |
4 sprue frames of sand color plastic contain more than 100 very nice molded parts. Most of them are same as in the older Pz III Ausf. M kit, but in one miniature frame are new parts for this new kit Ausf. L. The duality is typical Revell as well as parts without flash and any other mistakes. Typical “mistakes” are pioneer tools molded together with a hull and absence of crew figures and any accessories. Outlines of the model are very accurate |
Instruction sheet | Well done, including two camouflage schemes (3. PzGren.Div. from winter 1942 and unknown unit from spring 1943). It’s a pity that producer didn’t use an attractive cammo from North Africa, where were „Panzers 3 Special“ (British nickname) operating too. |
Decals | Miniature sheet with basic markings, printed exactly in register. |
General Impression & Note | Again another excellent Revell! For those who want to build more detailed model I can recommend super-detailed PE set from Eduard. It’s designed for Pz III Ausf. M kit, but most of its parts can be used for „L“ too. |
