Russian tractor Stalinetz – S 65 in 1/72 scale
The biggest positive of this kit is very well detailed
engine as well as tracked chassis. Design of lights is also
interesting because you don’t have to drill them before
”glazing”. On the other hand I would prefer to replace
original levers, holders and other similar fine parts with new
one made of wire or stretched sprue to get their more
realistic look. I would also reduced wind shiled frames
because they seem to me too thick for 1/72 scale. The
windshields as well as windows can be ”glazed” with piece
of clear plastic sheet that you will also find enclosed. The first sight have to tells you that this vehicle is one of the
”cousins” of know US Caterpillar. These vehicles were used as agricultural tractors in peace period and some of
than you can find at field of East Europe till today. I have got my kit thanks to excellent service of Panzer

Quality
You will find in the box
relatively lot of resin parts that will probably tell you
nothing at first sight. They practically don’t resemble like
vehicle you should build out of them. After you scan them you
will find out that producer practically delivered you model of
the vehicle in disassembled condition. Every part is very well
detailed and cast without bubbles. Problematic is relatively
large number of smaller and bigger technological sprues as
well as lot of flash and resin film clean off most of
parts.

General Impression
& Note
I guess the producer offers us very nice and
detailed kits. I suppose that completion of this jewel is not
simple therefore I do not recommend it to beginners. I’m sure that the result
of you patient modelling work will be very nice detailed model of Russian
tractor that is able to contest in any show without problem.
