German Flakpanzer I with ammo trailer in 1/76 scale
Only 24 pieces of this rare vehicle were produced in 1941. All of them
together with 8 Munitionsschleppers served in 614th Flak Abteilung that was
completely destroyed in Stalingrad in January 1943.

Resin kit
Quality
The kit includes relatively
large number of parts well cast of light gray resin. You will
find no bubbles or bubble-holes on them. Some parts include
fine flash to remove and most of the fine parts and gaps and
holes on bigger parts are covered with fine resin film but it
shouldn’t be a problem to clean it. Some of longer and thin
flat parts /inclusive chases parts/are little twisted and have
to be straight in hot water. The biggest parts of the kita are
hull with schematic interior and body of the ammo trailer,
both are cast as full piece with big sprue on the base to
remove. The chassis is cast in two pieces only – wheels and
tracks together. All mentioned parts as well as other are
usable without problem after cleaning. Only I would recommend
to replace is resin 2 cm gun barrel with new brass one offered
also by Milicast as accessories.

General Impression
& Note
I guess that with little work you can complete
out of this kit very nice model of the first of German ”Flakpanzers”. The
Flakpanzers was generally born as conversion of Munitionsschlepper I Ausf A
(Sd.Kfz.111) and was oficially designated 2 cm Flak 38 auf Stl Pz.Kpfw I Ausf. A
(Sd.Kfz. 101).
