| Quality | This kit includes many parts more that some plastic kits. All parts of the kit are very well cast with few fine simply removable flash on small and fine parts only. Some parts include bigger sprue but it shouldn’t be problem to remove it. The kit includes many very small fine details that can be simply broken or lost, so be careful when you work with! The hull has to be completed from few parts. The hatches and engine cowling are moulded to be open if you like. The hull includes driver’s compartment with gear box and it can look very well completed with some sctratchbuilt details. The engine is not included in the kit but you can withou problem use the engine from of common Sherman M4A1 kit by ESCI/Italery if you want to get really detailed model. The turret is cast as full but with the hole in place of driver’s hatch so it can be simply realize as open and you can put in figure of tank commander. The tracks are cast in strips have to be shaped with help of hot water before placing on the chassis. |

I like this kit very much because I thing there is included everything you
need (except instructions and decals) for building of very nice detailed model
of not so known early version of Sherman armed with British 17 pdr. gun.
Commonwealth Armored Brigades used these vehicles in Italy and West Europe in 1944-45. |
