German Horch Radio Truck Kfz 17 in 1/76 scale
All resin parts are well cast without bubbles
but with little more flash to remove. This kit is
very simple, includes 9 parts only. This kit seems
to me be designed in ”wargames” style because
there is no interior, no detail chassis, just one
big part for complete body, wheels and two
antennae.
Very fine details (mirrors, wipers
atc.)have to be scratchbuild. I think it will take more work to complete this kit to get
good model of known German WW2 vehicle. This vehicles served also in North Africa where
were used by one of the most known units of DAK
– Kpt. Seebohm’s radio-monitoring company which
was destroyed by Australians by Tel –al-Aisa in
1942.
Some info and reference photos concerning this
happening can be found in the book ”Secret War
in Africa”. I received this kit from Italian colleague Lorenzo Tonioli
as the result our kit swap.
