Armored cars Rolls Royce Model 1924 Mk.I &
Mk.II
in 1/72 scale
The resin parts are fine cast without bubbles
but with more flash necessary to remove. The
mentioned parts looks little rough on the first
look but if you check it in details you will
find out that it’s not so bad that all of them
are useful. Some bigger parts /radiator grill
and its cover/and all details are realized as
very nice photo-etched parts. The main
difference between versions Mk.I and Mk.II is
the turret. The Mk.II is also equipped with
anti-sand mats, cases, cans atc. The armored cars based on R.R Silver Ghost
served in WW1 already. Then they were modernized and were used also
in the early WW2 in North Africa. The models on
box photos represent vehicles in typical desert
camouflage but I know some WW2 reference photos
of version Mk.II only. I have never seen any
Mk.I from North Africa. In case you can help me
to find such references they are of course
welcome. Thanks in advance. These kits are another results of my kit swap with my
Italian friend Lorenzo Tonioli.

General Impression
I think you can relatively simply build
models of very interesting well known WW2 armored cars out of these kits.
