Quality
The Sd.kfz. 11 is a very old Esci /now Italeri/ model, it has some inaccuracies, and the part are quite thick... Unfortunately BVM didn't provide any improvement to this kit, nor resin nor photo etched which is a shame. Many detail could have been improved. The Revell leFH18 kit is quite good... for soft plastic. The howitzer is updated by the BVM parts: resin muzzle brake, resin wheels, resin and photo etched rear trail arm and a resin and photo etched shield. The main problem will be to glue soft plastic with resin and photo etched.But the improvement is quite good, the resin part are very well cast, and the photo etched add some realistic details to the soft plastic kit. Some figures and accessories from the Revell are included, and fit perfectly on the Sd.kfz.-11.

General Impression It is a shame that no improvement was made on the Sdkfz 11. But the BVM's point of view is to provide inexpensive upgrades for existing kits, for instance this kit cost 15,5 EURO.
