These Grenadiers base on Esci´s former ”Nebelwerfer”-figures. But there was a lot of work to be done. First I replaced all heads and hands by highly detailed Preiserparts. Then some arms and legs were replaced to create new poses. But I had to spend most time on sculpting those old plastic guys. E.g. shoes had to be ”worked out” with a sharp knife etc. Of course some of Preiser´s superb weapons and accessories were added. After all I painted the figures overall with Vallejo coulours, which I can highly recommend for doing such painting jobs.
