These are Airfix/Heller German Paratroopers of the early part of the war, somewhere in Holland, for example. I painted them with Humbrol colours and, as these were my first painted figures, I tried to give them a black wash to get the details to show. The results were bad and I don't use this technique anymore. The wall and ruins were made of plasters over a beans-jar lid! The painting was done with Tamiya acrylics and weather with oil washes and pastel dust. The little propaganda poster was printed using laser-printer but it is still a bit off. It was a pleasure to build and I'll keep on building these small vignettes!
