Issue of these Planet Models kits made me really happy. I had not to make them by myself and they fitted to everything that belongs to V2 rocket service. The moulds were very good, kit contained the engine and metal parts. I wanted to make the cargo area open. My idea, that it could be a contest model, appeared as unreal. I didn‘t get too many references for Faun, but I realized, that the real vehicle had 6 cylinder engine, but there was an 8 cylinder engine in the kit. This problem could be solved by making engine by myself, but it wasn‘t all. I was so frustrated by Faun, that it was several times very near to waste bin. I really wasn‘t able to get the front axle with wheels to the fenders. I glued the fenders, but I didn‘t get there the wheels. Impossible. After several attempts I glued the axle 5mm below, then fitted the fenders and the wheels were then glued into the fenders. Horrible. After that it was without any problems. A-Stoff transporter was very easy model and I had no mind for any modifications. I added just the most necessary details and enjoyed the fact it‘s done. The whole model was sprayed with Humbrol paints and finished with oil paints. After placing it on the base it doesn‘t look bad. I have two more Fauns at home and I know “what they need” J , so I look forward to build them, because this is a nice and big vehicle.
