This model was build from old kit that had to be detailed with parts of plastic and metal sheet and copper wire.

Figures were born as conversions from various Preiser sets.

The model represents French DUKW supplying of the French base  in Tonkin in north Indochina in summer 1953.

The background of photomontage with fortification is original photo that my father took when served as officer of "La Coloniale".
