Documentation: Wheels&Track No 54 Les Vehicles du Debarqement 1994 My own photos taken in Transport Muzeum, Beverly, UK The pictures from W&T magazine and STUART – LIGT TANK by Militaria This model of the Diamond T 980 is 80% scratchbuilt. I have used only the shoals with the fenders and the patterns from original Matchbox’s ”Diamond T 980 M-19”. I have produced every remaining part myself using resin casting, plastic sheets, brass sheets, wires atc. I have used the Humbroll paint M117 to airbrush basic color and the Humbroll M29 for the patina. I use also ”shadowing” technique on this model. The decals are made using of known technology ”brown tape, varnish and paint”. The model of the Rodger Trailer M9 has been built in same way as is described in my previous contribution. The model of the LVT 4 is the Airfix’s kit with some modifications only. New are the interior, the motor and the weaponry. I have use the Humbroll paint M117 to airbrush basic color and the Humbroll M29 for the patina + ”shadowing” technique. It took me about 400 hours to finish all these models.
