This 1/72 scale figure set comes from a new company started by Miguel Jimenez of Spain, a name well respected in modeling circles and one of the groundbreakers in current weathering techniques.

As seen in the accompanying photo, this resin figure set consists of one full figure, one ¾ figure with separate arms and one ½ figure with arms attached. It might be better to call them torsos rather than figures since they are missing heads (battle injuries?). Five heads are included for the three torso’s giving you a better choice of matching your figures to the particular model or diorama you are building. This is a refreshing feature when for years we all have gotten used to the idea of borrowing heads from other figure sets and making major conversions to get what we want.

Resin casting of such small figures is crisp, to scale, and overall superb. These are some of the best cast faces in small scale I have seen. Great figures are one of the best way to add a feeling of scale and story to a model.

Though not a modern AFV expert, I believe these figures would be suitable for the Revell T-80, ACE and PST T-55’s, ESCI’s T-62, as well as ACE’s and others plastic and resin Soviet vehicle models.
