Rumanian Resita 75-mm DT-UDR AT gun Model 1943 in 1/76 scale

Name Resita 75-mm DT-UDR anti tank gun Model 1943. Rumanian AT gun of WW2 Kit /kit #RU4/
Producer  Ostmodels, Australia
Packing plastic bag
Type of kit cast resin kit
Quality A good to fair quality kit by Al.By and MARS standards but with a little work can be made to a good display or wargaming model. There are a few air bubbles to fill. Casting is very delicate and fine. A few warped parts need straitening in hot water.
Instruction sheet None (after I assemble the model I hope to produce instructions and update this review).
Without good references it may be tough to assemble. Unfortunately reference photos are hard to find unless you live in Belgrade and the museum there. Fortunately it is so similar to the Zis-3 it should be able to figure out.
Decals None
General Impression & Note This may be one of the most rare and poorly known anti tank weapons of WW2. In 1943 it was developed by Resita of Rumania to replace the ineffective Bofors and Bohler AT guns. The gun is essentially a copy of the Soviet 76.2-mm Zis-3 Model 1942 Field Gun, chambered for the German Pak 40 ammunition, and with different shield and a longer barrel (giving it a higher velocity than the Zis-3). It was used in 1944 against the Soviets and then in 1944-45 against the Germans.
I suspect its color should be olive green.
Towing vehicles could be the Styer heavy car, Open Blitz or other Rumanian used trucks of the period.
I purchased my kit through Mighty Military Miniatures mail order.
