Quality | A very nice model suitable for wargaming or a display model. Very good work casting the pressed steel type wheels. Thirteen light green resin parts. Lots of flash to remove but this is not hard. Some bad air bubbles on the trail though easy to fill and sand smooth. Delicate elevation and traverse hand wheel included (often missing from small-scale artillery). No parts broken. |

General Impression & Note |
This a WW1 era field gun originally having wood
spokes wheels. Included in the kit scan are some spoked wheels from Grandt Line
Co. so as to back date the gun if I wish. In 1940 Italy upgraded many of these
with the rubber tired wheels depicted in this model. The gun is originally derived from the German Krupp 7.5 cm M.1906. In WW2 a few were used by the Germans as the 7.5cm FK 237(i). It may be painted tan color for Afrika or Italy, or gray-green for Europe. I understand this gun saw service on all fronts: Afrika, Balkans, Italy & Russia. |
