Quality Parts of both kits are identical except upper hull part and sprue with gun parts. You will find 8 relatively small sprues of light gray plastic in the box. Three of them include basic vehicle body parts, one is with tracks only, one with wheels only, one includes partly tracks and partly smaller parts, one partly wheels and another smaller parts and last sprue includes gun parts and accessories. The crew hatches are moulded closed but can be relatively simply open. You just have to cut rear roof part in parts /in that case I would recommend you to make new thinner hatches of plastic or metal sheet/. The tracks are moulded in stripe segments and have to be shaped in hot water before application to sprocket and idler wheels. For work simplification there are missing guiding teeth on tracks that have to be shaped. For the same reason also on sprocket are some teeth missing in place where tracks have to be shaped tracks glued to. The rest of track stripes has guiding teeth molded but they are very plain. Therefore it would be very nice of producer if he will come with similar etched teeth as for Praga 38 tracks. The smaller parts for vehicle body completion as well as exterior accessories are moulded and èást well and can be used without any problem I guess. I miss only gun-layer because the roof slot will look too empty without this part. I will certainly make it for my model. Interesting is that one of sprues includes few parts into the bargain. I mean sprockets and idlers for StuG III Ausf A/B. Though this kits in ”short-run” all parts are well cast without any problematic defect. After parts are cut out of the spures it’s necessary to clean them of some flash and sprue marks. Some places will need a little of putty /for ex. upper Notek part and extractor marks on the chassis sides/. Also gun barrel has to be drilled but it could take little work to do it with Ausf. F gun because it’s muzzle brake is full of the flash.
Instruction sheet clear graphical instruction sheet including two camouflage &marking schemas
Decals good decals for two vehicles
General Impression & Note I guess you can complete with some work nice models of two versions of German WW2 assault gun StuG III. Last type armed with short barrel gun and first type armed with more effective long barrel gun with the muzzle brake. Germans produced 284 pieces of version E vehicles and about 360 of version F. All of them served on the Eastern Front and some Fs also in Tunisia and Southern Europe.

As I mentioned above some extra parts for version A/B included in one of the one of sprues so I’m sure is indicates new kit of another StuG III will come soon!J

I would like top thank Attack Hobby for free kits for our preview!
