Morris C.8.MKII truck & 17pdr AT gun
Morris C.8.: The detailed interior is
its most advantage. Twelve shell boxes, one Bren machine gun, six rifles
and one driver are included. This is also reflected on the box art. 17pdr GUN: The rivets on the shield
are elaborate. Trails and barrel are movable after be assembled. Willy's jeep: One driver included. I
have to say when compared with Academy's new released Willy's jeep(in 1/72
WWII Ground Vehicle Set,#1310/FA172,released in 1999) the new comer isn't
much better than this old one. Diorama: The best diorama base in
Matchbox's 1/76 AFV series. With brick chimney, brick wall and broken
windows. Advantage: All hub caps are separate
from the wheels. So you can paint different colors on hub cap and wheel
without any trouble. All wheels are movable. Matchbox has produced most of their
plastic model kits and die cast car in China since the end of 1980's.
Unfortunately it has been out of production for about five years. This
PK172 was produced in 1996. There are some remainders of Matchbox kits on
the market. Matchbox is the torchbearer of China
scale modelling activity. Detail of Morris Commercial:
