Austrian armored car ADGZ in 1/72 scale
Name | Armoured Car ADGZ , Austrian Heavy Armoured Car /Item No. A7211/ |
Producer | Kora Models, Czech Republic |
Packing | Carton box with color picture on the top |
Type of kit | Resin kit + photo-etched brass parts |
Quality | All resin parts are well cast with no any bubbles and only little fine flesh on few parts. The only one problem you will have to solve during assembly of this kit is how remove sprues because some of them are really massive. The body of the vehicle as well as the turret is cast as full piece without chance to open doors or hatch unfortunately. The kit includes also very nice photo-etched brass sheet with parts necessary for exterior detailing. |
Instruction sheet | graphic assembly instructions with Czech/English/German instructions how to work with the resin kits and camouflage schemas |
Decals | very good decals for three vehicles |
General Impression | The first look in the box is very good. I suppose that the assembly of the kit will be quick without many complications and I’m sure that completed kit will be good model of rare heavy armored car Austro-Daimler ADGZ. |
Note |
Austrian army received 27 pieces of this heavy
armored car in 1397. All of them got into German hands after ”Anschluss”of
Austria in 1938. They then served in Police and SS that ordered more 25 vehicles
in 1941. The ADGZs got in action in Poland in 1939 and then fought mainly
against partisans in Russia and on Balkan territory.
I would like to thank company Kora Models that gave as this kit free of charge for our preview. |
