I have chosen kit of Tatra T
97 less known relative of Tatra T 87. Unfortunately I
haven’t any reference info in available literature and in
instruction sheet included in the kit , except info published
in instructions of T 87 kit already.
The kit includes 25 parts well injection moulded of gray styrene and 9 clear parts. The clear parts are not usable for completing of detailed kit unfortunately because they are too thick a not clear enough. Of course you will have to use little putty and piece of sandpaper to make the model surface clear. Interior of the car is moulded simplified but usable for model with closed doors. Shape fidelity seems to be in order according to pattern. |
Instruction sheet | Instruction sheet is well done including eight steps of graphic assembly instruction, schema of parts in the according to sprues and two camouflage schemas with reference to AGAMA, TAMIYA and HUMBROL paints. The decal sheet includes decals for both camouflages included in the instruction sheet. You can build car in three-color camouflage served in 3. Pz.Div.Pz.rtg.HQ in Russia in 1943 or gray Police car used in 1945 (May ?). |
Decals | yes |
General Impression & Note |
This kit of interesting Czech car is very well
done and I can recommend it to all modelers keen on WW2 vehicles as well as to
friends of civil cars.
It would be very interesting to find more info about using these cars during WW2. I would like to thank Attack Hobby Models company for free sample for the preview. |
