| Quality | All parts of the kit are very well cast with only few bubbles and flashes. They include lot of very fine details (12,7 mm machine gun, tools, grilles, gear lever atc.). The chassis is cast in more pieces. There are included two variants of towing hooks (class A and B) in the kit. I have found one small part missing in my box unfortunately. |

The kit is
not designed for beginners but its assembly should be very simple and
quick according my opinion. I think that the model finished out of this
kit will be jewel for any small scale models collection.
History: This tractor with closed cab for 11 soldiers has been designed for the towing of the guns with weight higher than 15 tons. The machine is driven by engine Waukesha - 210 hp. and the track chassis is based on the chassis of M4A2 light tank. The series production started in August 1942. These tractors were in Europe and also in Pacific used by American army. You can build your model towing 155 mm guns ”Long tom” (Item No. č.945) or 203 mm howitzer (Item No. č.948) both also offered by Al.By. |
