Plastic kit of heavy tank destoryer from WWII

Quality It seems that Ferdinand/Elefant became another popular German subject. After  ESCI/Italeri, Dragon and Trumpeter there is again Dragon - this time in Armor Pro Series. New kit is much better than earlier Dragon effort. It is clearly visible on some older parts left in sprues beside new ones, for example on commander's cuppola. Fenders has delicate anti-slip pattern, almost all hatches are molded opened. Very nice is fixed rear circular cover, which was opened only for gun change (or blown off by explosion). You can choose between solid piece or cover with small hatch in the middle opened (it was used for loading of ammunition). There is also small fret of PE parts. Dragon should be commended for the
tracks. Every modeler can choose according to his taste - there are vinyl one piece tracks provided as well as plastic lenght and link tracks. New Dragon has only one big disappointment for me. Both lower hull and superstructure has massive joint inside (maybe for screwing them together?). It is absolutely useless and if you want to left some hatches open, you must remove it. Without this surgery, you can't even place inside nice gun breech
included in this kit.
Instruction sheet Dragon stuck to photographic style of instructions, which is sometimes too simplified.
Decals Emblems and three sets of different styles numbers enable to build every vehicle of sPzjAbt. 653
General impression & Note  New Dragon has some parts better than Trumpeter, however, in other areas it is losing (the  worst is mentioned joint in the interior). It's a pity, that there is no zimmerit molded on hull and superstructure, as is the case of other Dragon's kits, like Tiger or Jagdpanther.
