General Impression & Note |
Interesting type of which I did not know anything until now! I found this information on iternet: Makeshift solution to boost the antitank capacity of the infantry, without incurring a too heavy weight penalty. A shortened barrelled 7,5 cm PaK 40 took place on the carriage of a 5 cm PaK 38. The weight saving allowed the servants to move their gun more easily, but the loss in performances was severe and made the weapon all but useless. Only a limited number were completed. Calibre: 75 mm, length with the carriage: 4.00 m, length: 2.20 m, width: 1.86 m, height: 1.05 m. |
