Phänomen Granit 25 Ambulance

Name Phänomen Granit 25 Ambulance model 1931 (Sd.Kfz 31) (Kat.čís. D-7204)

Producer JV model , Czech Republic

Packing Model is selling in small box from solid pasteboard, perfectly protecting content. On upside of the box there is glued-on black and white etiquette with title of model, emblem of producer, side view of an automobile and other inevitable data. On inside lid of box there is (in form of a stamp) address of producer (to me up to now unknown).

Type of kit Resin kit

Quality Model is cast from white resin, in my opinion somewhat hardly and petite than classic yellow one. It's compound of small number of basic parts (but regarding to a simplicity of real car is this number of parts sufficient). Except resins there is in content of the model also steering wheel from white metal and small folio of transparent plastic for glazing of windows. Model represents its pattern very pretty, at least what matters of shape resemblance . Interior in crew compartment is figured with only fundamental parts (steering wheel, seat), in superstructure isn't figured at all and it depends on modeller how he'll decide to make it. Surface quality of cast stock is very good, details are figured trustworthy and fine. Window openings and some smaller parts they are cast-in by fine resin membrane, but it can be very easy removed. The only thinks that I've taked exceptions to is figuration of canvas on roof superstructure and doors of a crew compartment. Its design is untrustworthy and looks as if author of matrices create it additionally "in hands" by graver.
Instruction sheet Instruction is an small sheet of paper, whereon they are very brief fundamentals of work with resin, assembly procedure on one (!) picture (it's though sufficient even for less experienced modeller) and camouflage scheme, including corresponding Humbrol colors. Camouflage is indicated not only for older version in Panzer Grau, but also for multicolor camouflage from spring of 1943.

Decals Model contains also miniature decal sheet with 4 typical red crosses. Identification mark of Wehrmacht, not even marking of unit there're not on sheet and modeller will be obliged to get these from personal sources.

General Impression &
Note Very pretty and effective model, which with minimum of work enrich any collection. Warm advise to get it !
